Change OEM Logo

If you buy a computer or laptop from the company’s leading manufacturers such as Dell, HP, Acer, and others, you may notice a special logo and the information is provided as a brand identification.

You can change the logo with your own logo, with the previous create an image with a size of 120×120 pixels to replace the manufacturer’s logo. To change OEM logo following this steps:

  1. Show the OEM logo with right-click on my computer icon and select properties
  2. You will see a logo under windows logo that shows a particular brand
  3. Prepare a logo that you have created, make sure have the size 120×120 pixels. Slightly larger is not a problem, but it should be shaped box.
  4. Type regedit in the menu start-start search for open the Registry Editor
  5. Navigate the cursor to the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WINDOWS\Currentversion\OEMInformation.
  6. On the right side of the panel, you will see a value with name logo
  7. Double-click on that item
  8. Enter the path that you have created to replace the OEM logo

Now you can see your logo under windows logo and your OEM logo has been replaced.
